This role will be a strategic leader with extensive experience in advancing clinical development and registration successfully & efficiently, especially in the field of hematological tumor. With a strong medical & science background and an overall picture of the product value chain, the successful candidate should have close collaboration with and in-depth understanding of research and commercial functions. With awareness of external innovation competition, the candidate could provide differentiation clinic strategies to win the market. To enable a Biopharma startup, the candidate should have an entrepreneurial spirit with a “cost effective” mindset and be very strong in actions.
Responsibilities
- Leads and oversees clinical development strategies, including Phase I through III, life cycle management, safety responsibilities, and scientific interaction. Ensures that all clinical trials are in keeping with approved timelines and budgets.
- With extensive connections with clinic KOLs, physician experts, and innovation competition market to understand real patient needs and provide differentiation clinic solutions.
- As a member of the executive team, contributes to the development of business and / or functional strategies. Closely partners with both research and commercial functions to drive effective innovations and successful products’ life cycle.
- Responsible for the compliance of department, company, and regulatory standards and procedures.
- Team management and development.
- Supports to influence investors to keep confidence in promising innovation.

Required Skills
- With a broader view of the whole process, has an in-depth understanding of the scientific field of early research which includes target screening, drug discovery, transfer medical and disease / therapeutic, clinical needs, and clinic practices.
- Capable to provide differentiation clinic strategy in the competition environment.
- Outstanding communication skills with research and commercial team, and external facing clinic KOLs, physician experts, and CROs.
- With good influence skill when facing investors.
- Strong in actions, knowing how to do implementation and execution.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a “cost effective” mindset required by start-ups.
- Independent, self-motivated individual and strong, inspiring leader to drive and motivate the team with diversified scientific and medical experts.
- Lifelong learner, sensitive to different disease / therapeutic and cutting-edge technologies.
Preferred Skills
- 5+ years of rich experience in new drug discovery and international development, especially the successful implementation records must focus on the field of hematological tumor from protocol design to full completion of Phase III clinical trials. Very proficient in ICH guidelines and FDA requirements.
