We are seeking a Locum Tenens Physician - Urgent Care in South Carolina . Specialty: Urgent Care Location: South Carolina Shift: Rotating shifts: * Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday (8 AM - 8 PM); Saturday & Sunday (8 AM - 5 PM) * Week 2: Wednesday & Thursday (8 AM - 8 PM). Weeks rotate accordingly. Start Date: TBD End Date: TBD Position Details: * Patient Population: Adult, Pediatric * Setting: Urgent Care * Responsibilities: Minor wound management and repair, incision and drainage of abscesses, foreign body removal from skin, pelvic exams, diagnostic testing, local anesthesia, extremity splinting * Average Patients Per Day: 40-75 * Number of Exam Rooms: 5 * Support Staff: 1 mid-level provider per day * EMR System: Experity * On-Call/Weekends: N/A Submission Requirements: * Board Certified * Active South Carolina License * BLS and DEA certification * 100% clean background (required for temporary privileges) * SC Controlled Substance registration * Local provider preferred
