Federal Tax Director

We are looking for a Federal Tax Director to lead tax strategy, compliance, and planning for our client. This is a high-impact role for a tax leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and wants to drive strategic tax initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

1. Oversee federal tax compliance and ensure adherence to regulations
2. Develop tax strategies that optimize efficiency and minimize risk
3. Lead tax reporting, audits, and liaise with external stakeholders
4. Partner with finance and executive leadership on tax planning initiatives
5. Stay ahead of changing tax laws and their impact on the organization

What We’re Looking For:

1. 8+ years of federal tax experience, with leadership exposure
2. CPA or JD preferred; strong knowledge of corporate tax regulations
3. Experience with M&A tax strategy and large-scale tax filings
4. Ability to lead teams and collaborate cross-functionally
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
