Dentist

• Reason for coverage: Growth, leaves, time off
• Age range of patients: 60% Adult patients
• Number of Patients per provider / shift: 18-20 Patients / day in an 8 hour, 20-22 if they want to work 9 hours
• Dates / Times of Coverage: Monday through Friday 40hrs / wk Clinic hours are 7:30a-7p & Saturday 7:30-5p.

One evening shift per week, one Saturday per month. When they work a Saturday, we give them a day off in the week so that they are not working extra.

Procedures:

• What Procedures are required for this position:

Dental Cleanings (Prophylaxis), Fluoride, Cavities, Early (Interceptive) Orthodontic Care, Simple Extractions, Pulp Treatment (Pulpotomy), Stainless Steel Crowns (SSCs), Tooth Colored Fillings (Composite Resin), X-Rays (Radiographs), Sealants, Space Maintainers.

• Any Procedures that are preferred but NOT required:

Fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures, root canal treatments, and minor oral surgeries.

• Are any procedures eligible for referral?

Requirements:

• Medicaid / Medicare patients accepted: Yes MediCal (is this required to have prior to start?)
• Any CPR / additional certifications required: BLS
