Medical Speech Language Pathologist

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Speech-Language Pathologist located in Bronx, NY for a nursing and rehabilitation center. Hands on FEES training is available at the site. Role Description The Medical Speech-Language Pathologist will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Tasks include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, implementing therapy sessions, and maintaining thorough documentation. The role also requires close collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Qualifications Strong skills in Speech Therapy Experience with Dysphagia and Language Disorders Proficiency in identifying and treating Communication Disorders Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Experience in medical facilities or similar settings is a plus Seniority level
