Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist for a 13 week contract! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various therapeutic techniques and a passion for helping patients regain their mobility and improve their quality of life.
Duties Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals. Implement therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to orthopedics, acute care, and pediatrics. Utilize techniques such as trigger point therapy and other physical therapy modalities to facilitate recovery. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and lifestyle modifications. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes using medical terminology. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and methodologies. Requirements
A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of practice or a compact license. Experience in orthopedics, acute care, clinic settings, or home health is preferred. Proficiency in medical terminology related to physical therapy practices. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to ongoing professional development and education in the field of physical therapy.
