Noblestown Road, Carnegie, Allegheny County, PA 15106 & Additional worksites: Allegheny, Butler, Washington, & areas of Pittsburgh. Duties: locate worn/torn areas in roofs, remove old roofing materials, clean work area, maintain tools/equipment, sweep/clean roofs in preparation for the application of new roofing materials, set ladders, scaffolds & hoists in place, install roofing & gutter materials, check to ensure completed roofs are watertight & other related Roofer activities as per SOC/OES 47-2181 (onetonline.org). M-F 6:30AM-5:00PM, 40+. Possible weekend/holiday work. Work is performed outdoors, exposed to weather; must be capable of doing physically strenuous labor for long hours, occasionally in extreme heat or cold. Variable weather conditions apply. Must be 18 due to state labor laws. Perform physical activities such as: lift, balance, walk, stoop, handle, position, move, manipulate materials use static strength to exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, carry objects up to 80lbs (possible 2-person). 3 months Roofing experience required.
