Structural Engineer

Senior Structural Engineer Objective: Join a leading engineering firm as a Senior Structural Engineer where you'll contribute to diverse, challenging projects while mentoring junior team members. Key Responsibilities: Lead structural design projects from conception through completion, utilizing expertise in steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structures Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive structural solutions Perform site visits to assess existing conditions and monitor construction progress Create and review technical specifications, construction documents, and shop drawings Represent the firm at client meetings, presentations, and regulatory reviews Provide technical guidance to project managers and team members Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing Requirements: Professional Engineer (PE) license with 5-10 years of post-licensure experience BS in Civil/Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution Comprehensive knowledge of building codes and standards including IBC, ASCE, ACI, and AISC Proficient in structural analysis software (RAM Structural Systems, Enercalc, STAADPro) Expert in AutoCAD and Revit Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Demonstrated project management and leadership capabilities Self-motivated with proven problem-solving skills Benefits/Perks: Competitive compensation package including healthcare benefits, 401(k) matching, performance bonuses, professional development support, tuition reimbursement, flexible scheduling, and generous PTO. #M1 #LI-PK1 Ref: #282-Eng Pgh
