Overview
The HR Advisor is responsible for using a proactive consultative approach with clients to provide customized and practical HR solutions to challenges across a range of HR functions including best practices for talent selection, compensation, employee relations, leave administration, performance management, employee benefits, policies and procedures, training and development, and regulatory compliance. The HR Advisor will also increase efficiency with the iSolved technology, implement appropriate solutions, and move clients from tactical to strategic for better candidate and employee experiences that reduce client turnover and associated issues.

Ensure client work stays within budget while maintaining quality and completing milestones
Support Thread systems, processes, and culture
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (required)
PHR and/or SHRM-CP required, SPHR and/or SHRM-SCP preferred
Current, valid Driver's license
Strong HR Generalist: 5+ years of HR experience with at least 2 years in HR consulting with emphasis on employee relations, employee engagement, compliance, policies and processes, training, and coaching leadership teams
Computer proficiency: Microsoft Suite, G-Suite, payroll reporting, and HR admin familiarity
Must be able to get to the point with clients, resolve issues and give concise advice
Extensive Knowledge of federal and state employment laws: FMLA, ADA, EEO and EEO-1, FLSA, I-9s, benefits administration, audits, NLRB, OSHA record keeping, background/drug test process
Experience investigating and managing claims: workers comp, unemployment, wage/hr, and EEOC Physical Demands and Work Environment
Excellent time management skills and ability to work both independently to provide solutions to the client and as part of a team on multiple projects
Strong consulting skills and ability to exceed client expectations with a proactive approach
Strong initiative and follow-through skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
The ability to solve HR-related problems and communicate with multiple clients
