Electrical Engineer - Boston, MA
Data Center / Mission Critical Facilities experience a plus!
Our client is an Engineering Design and Commissioning Company that specializes in MEP critical facilities design. They provide design, commissioning, consulting, and management expertise in the Critical Facilities Space. They focus on reliability, energy efficiency, sustainable design, and LEED expertise when providing these consulting services for Enterprise, Colocation, and Hyperscale Companies. Responsibilities:
Create designs and plans, gather specifications, and execute assignments in a multidisciplinary electrical engineering design role for small to medium-sized data center facility design projects. Create conceptual designs gathered from meetings with the client for Field Engineer focus. Production Engineering available if field work is not your preference. Oversee the commissioning process. Work with management to respond to RFPs. Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within the boundaries of company policies. Put these in a clear, concise work statement for the field. Represent the company in project meetings as needed. Qualifications:
5-10 years of experience. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. Licensed PE is a MUST. LEED AP is a plus. Experience with Electrical Systems such as UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), Generators, Switchgears, and Batteries is a MUST. Experience working on complex facilities design or for Data Centers Mission Critical projects is a MUST. AutoCAD and Revit experience is a must. Ability to successfully work independently. Previous experience in the Military / Military veterans in all branches with experience in Electrical / Mechanical is a huge plus (Navy Nukes- EMN, ETN, MMNs, Seabees, Army - Power, Air Force – Power Production, Generator Techs, Maritime, Coast Guard, etc.).
