GlobalSource IT has a Direct Client in need of an AWS focused Cloud Architect to join their current procurement team to ensure migration/integration success from an SAP ECC to AWS project. The team is looking to migrate to SAP Hana/S4 but has faced challenges due to over-architecting/customizations, leading them to choose AWS instead. This role involves working directly with the SAP Ariba/Procurement team and the IT Technical team to guide data quality, testing, customizations, training, and recommendations as needed. The ideal candidate will not only provide advisory support but also engage in hands-on development work.
The candidate should have specific AWS implementations and experience with procurement data or SAP Ariba projects. This opportunity is for an initial 6-12 months contract and can be supported 100% remote for the PST timezone.

Minimum Requirements:
- At least 10 years of Data and Cloud related Architecture experience with a focus on AWS platforms
- Success with AWS migrations or implementation of multiple projects is key for this role
- Ability to work both in an advisory and hands-on development capacity to assist the team as needed
- Experience with projects within a procurement or SAP Ariba environment is highly preferred
