Systems Engineer III Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Systems Engineer for a contract position in Richfield, MN. The opportunity will be six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension. Position Summary: • Implement infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible and Chef. • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the build and deployment processes. • Design and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure to support applications and services. • Implement best practices for cloud security, monitoring, and performance optimization. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions into existing systems. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services. • Stay updated with AWS services, features, and industry trends to recommend improvements. Qualifications: • 8+ years of proven experience as an Infrastructure Automation Engineer with focus on building platform automation tools. • 5+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. • 5+ years of experience with Configuration Management such as Chef and Ansible. • 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or other DevOps tools. • Strong understanding of networking, security, and scalability concepts in cloud environments. • Effective collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred: • Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for CICD pipelines. • Familiarity with agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC). • AWS certification (e.g. AWS solution architect) If this job is a match for your background, we would be honored to receive your application!
