Editorial Assistant
LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a editorial assistant with 2 or more years of experience for a contract opportunity for our non profit client in Washington DC This role is 100% remote. This is a great role that offers the opportunity to work with a results-oriented and dedicated team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation, editing, and proofreading of articles, ensuring accuracy and adherence to editorial guidelines.
- Conduct thorough research to support content development, including fact-checking and sourcing relevant information.
- Collaborate with writers, editors, and other team members to manage deadlines and ensure timely publication of content.
- Assist in the planning, production, and distribution of print and digital publications, ensuring all materials meet quality standards and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing or related fields.
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, HTML is a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong grammatical skills for proofreading and editing.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Experience:
- 2+ years of editorial work, publishing experience
Employment Type: 1-2 month contract
Compensation: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
