The company provides and services the equipment as well as the consumables associated with the work including abrasives, coatings, and safety equipment. With over 20 years in business, the company is headquartered in Western Pennsylvania and has a strong presence in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, and Gulf Coast regions.
The company is seeking to grow aggressively through an expanded sales focus with operations focused on execution. To support this expansion, the leadership team has added supportive product lines to allow sales to expand their earning potential. These products include offerings like safety equipment and coatings. The company views its specialty rentals as a particularly high margin market.
The Position:
The outside sales representative will maintain existing customer accounts and cultivate new business opportunities. An ideal candidate must be willing to travel as needed and will have existing client relationships in the soft craft space. This position offers a straight-forward and uncapped commission structure on top of a base salary.
With this being a specialty space, the salesperson exists as a main point of contact for the clients and is expected to be the expert in the equipment and options. The company has established a structure with inside sales support to assist your sales efforts with quoting and ordering for clients.
Responsibilities:
- Build and sustain long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers
- Travel within an assigned territory to conduct face-to-face meetings with customers
- Utilize persuasive negotiation skills to close sales
- Upsell with additional products such as PPE and supplies
- Continually meet or exceed sales targets set by company
- Maintain accurate records of leads, accounts, and sales, utilizing NetSuite
- Stay up to date on product knowledge and industry developments
- Communicate with customers and coworkers via phone and email
- Inform customers of upcoming promotions through regular outbound communications
