About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Intake Coordinator to manage the intake process for new and renewing groups. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately processing group control forms, updating demographic data, and managing premium rates within our system of record. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the intake of group control forms into the department.
  • Thoroughly review forms for completeness and accuracy of all data.
  • Accurately update demographic data and premium rates in the system of record.
  • Manage inbound phone queue, initiating referrals and authorizations.
  • Research and resolve authorization requests.


Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in an intake or similar role (healthcare experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel.
  • Proficient 10-key data entry skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Very good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.


Desired Skills:

  • 4 years of healthcare experience.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Experience with EPIC systems.


Soft Skills:

  • Resourceful, innovative, proactive, and adaptable.


Work Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM


Location:

  • 9 Piedmont Center, 3495 Piedmont Rd., Atlanta, GA 30305 (100% Onsite)


Additional Information:

  • This role may require occasional travel for training or meetings.
