The Director of Marketing is a strategic leader, creative problem solver, innovative thinker, and cross-functional collaborator. While the person in this role reports to the VP of Operations, they are expected to build and nurture collaborative relationships across property, corporate, and ownership levels to ensure marketing strategies support all revenue-producing areas.

Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Create and execute annual marketing plans within budget, in collaboration with venue leaders.
  • Develop integrated campaigns across traditional, digital, and social media channels.
  • Work with F&B and property leaders to design and activate partnerships and programming that are both disruptive and profitable.
  • Integrate on-brand content into targeted campaigns to increase awareness, preference, and market share.

Administrative & General

  • Aggregate and analyze data from internal and external sources to inform strategy.
  • Deliver insightful monthly reporting and continuous optimization of plans.
  • Collaborate with teams to collect email addresses and manage digital databases.
  • Oversee restaurant website content and updates.
  • Lead campaign development, data collection, and execution.
  • Coordinate event marketing and PR activations with department heads.
  • Manage seasonal promotion rollouts and activations.
  • Travel as required.

Media Relations

  • Lead media agency to ensure alignment with brand messaging and marketing goals.
  • Review reports and hold partners accountable to KPIs.
  • Host and coordinate media visits and influencer engagements.
  • Respond swiftly to reactive media opportunities.

Social Media

  • Manage social media budget and agency.
  • Review content calendars and contribute creative direction as needed.
  • Directly manage channels if agency support is unavailable.
  • Analyze engagement and campaign effectiveness; report and optimize accordingly.

Digital Marketing

  • Guide digital agency in executing high-ROI paid strategies.
  • Write content for email marketing; track open and conversion rates.
  • Review digital reports (ROAS, traffic, top campaigns, etc.) and adjust strategy based on results.

Traditional Marketing

  • Oversee print marketing budgets and timelines.
  • Create measurable print offers and track ROI.
  • Ensure all collateral is on-brand and delivered on time.


Requirements

  • 5+ years in hospitality, digital marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience managing agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong copywriting and content development skills.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and social media expertise (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn).
  • Competitive mindset with a passion for innovation and excellence.
