Velocity Venture Partners is a Philadelphia-based real estate private equity firm that specializes in the acquisition and management of opportunistic industrial and flex assets in the Greater Northeast region of the United States. Founded in 2017, Velocity brings an institutional approach to their investment strategy, focusing on middle-and upper-middle market B & C Industrial/Flex-product primarily located in the SEPA/SNJ markets. Velocity evaluates industrial and flex investment opportunities critical to e-commerce, fulfillment, manufacturing, and production processes throughout the Greater Northeast. Velocity has built and maintained a vast network of debt and equity relationships, streamlining the internal funding process for each new acquisition. In addition, the firm’s size and nimble approach enables quicker actions and decision making compared to competitors – ranging from acquisitions to leasing to capex and cosmetic work on newly acquired assets.

The firm currently owns and manages over 9 million square feet of industrial space in the Greater Northeast region.
The ideal candidate will assist in all areas of marketing lead generation and marketing support. They will be comfortable in maintaining various marketing campaigns and have a creative skillset which enables them to brainstorm new initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities include (among other duties):
- Provide overall support and assistance to the leasing department, which includes but is not limited to intake, applications, leases, showings, and processing.
- Assist with the preparation of supporting documents to facilitate the progression of the leasing process.
- Design, update, and maintain property brochures, marketing materials, websites, pitchbooks, and presentations.
- Manage email blasts, company and property websites, and social media to aid leasing team in marketing properties and generating leads.
- Work with outside listing companies such as LoopNet to ensure vacancy list is up to date.
- Operate photo taking equipment to capture new hire headshots and building photos.
- Diligently track prospect information to ensure data is complete and accurate.
- Maintain relationships and communicate effectively with the management team.
- Assist with marketing material distribution and managing electronic files for leasing related documents.
- Update and maintain the company website with new employee bios and headshots.
- Schedule and capture employee headshots for new hires.
- Plan and execute events and promotions that attract and engage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field.
- 0-3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in a commercial real estate environment. Local knowledge is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in marketing software and tools (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign, MailChimp, Google Analytics, social media management tools, and email marketing).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
