Our client, a leading industrial automation company, is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team.

Controls Engineer , you will be part of the
Engineering Department , supporting the
Automation and Commissioning Teams . The ideal candidate will have
strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and excellent communication , which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title:

Design and commission industrial control systems, including PLC programming and HMI development.
Develop and install PLC/HMI code, troubleshoot, and support on-site commissioning.
Program and integrate peripheral devices, coordinate machine debug, power-up, and validation with build and electrical teams.
Ensure system designs and programming align with customer specifications and industry standards.
Travel to customer sites for installation, startup, and support of automated systems.
What’s Needed?
3+ years of experience in Controls Engineering, PLC, and HMI programming.
Expertise in Rockwell Allen Bradley (Studio 5000, RSLogix, or Controllogix) or Siemens Step 7 (TIA Portal, WinCC) programming.
Strong knowledge of motion control programming/commissioning (Servos, VFD, etc.).
Familiarity with SCADA (Ignition), programming languages (Python, C#/.NET, Java), and hardware design (AutoCAD, ePlan) is a plus.
Experience working with fieldbus networks (DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, ProfiNet).
