Job Summary:
The Client Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE) team is seeking a Senior-level Salesforce Developer to participate in development activities across multiple Salesforce platforms. This role requires a highly skilled individual with extensive experience in developing and deploying Salesforce solutions. As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for leading technical aspects of Salesforce projects, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring best practices are followed to achieve high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities: Salesforce Development: Contribute development and configuration skills to the enterprise-wide Salesforce implementation. Scale and Best Practices: Build solutions with scalability in mind and stay up to date with the latest Salesforce platform capabilities. Collaboration and Mentorship: Work closely with scrum teammates to ensure technical integrity and best practices in design solutions. Provide mentorship to junior developers and conduct code reviews. Stakeholder Interaction: Consult with stakeholders, ensuring their requirements align with Salesforce platform best practices and provide constructive feedback on designs and proposals. Problem-Solving: Explore various problem-solving approaches, proofs of concept, and frameworks. Issue Resolution: Effectively communicate issues and their implications early. Resolve production issues as necessary. Testing and Coordination: Collaborate with the QA lead to ensure proper testing on personal and team development efforts. Agile Environment: Thrive in a collaborative, agile scrum team environment. Documentation: Document complex schema and architectural structures clearly and concisely for team sharing. Continuous Improvement: Facilitate discussions around evolving practices and knowledge sharing to reflect new insights or changes in circumstances. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 3 years of technical and business experience developing applications using the Salesforce.com platform and Force.com platform technologies, including custom objects, controllers & triggers, workflows, Apex classes, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, SOAP/REST-based web services, and legacy Visualforce. Minimum of 2 years of experience leading Salesforce-based development activities, including design. Strong expertise in Salesforce programmatic patterns and platform best practices. Experience working in an agile scrum team environment. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience integrating Sales and Service Cloud with Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Experience working with API and event-driven technologies such as Kafka or Google Pub/Sub in a production environment. Experience developing and deploying Apex classes as REST-based web services. Previous project leadership experience on small to mid-size projects involving the Salesforce platform.
Certifications:
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II (preferred but not required).
Salesforce Certified Administrator or other relevant certifications are a plus.
