Job Overview
They are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Manager to lead their quality assurance and control processes. This role is crucial in maintaining compliance with industry standards, improving manufacturing processes, and ensuring that all products meet internal and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality systems within a plastics manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and manage internal and external audits, including customer and third-party inspections.
- Analyze quality performance, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.
- Supervise quality control staff and ensure ongoing training and development.
- Manage non-conformance reports, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related customer concerns and complaints.
- Ensure product quality through inspections, testing protocols, and process validation.
- Participate/lead the quality functions as it relates to product launches and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment (plastics industry preferred).
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13845, or relevant standards.
- Proven experience with statistical analysis, quality tools (FMEA, SPC, 8D, etc.), and root cause methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with ERP and QMS software systems.
