Senior Contracts Manager
to join our growing global Compliance & Contracts team. In this role, you’ll lead the negotiation, drafting, and management of a wide range of commercial and subcontract agreements, supporting business growth while protecting Cask’s interests. To be successful in this role, you’re not just about reviewing terms—you’re helping teams close deals, mitigate risk, and build trust. You bring a calm, strategic voice to the table, ensuring contract processes are streamlined and aligned with enterprise goals. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Legal, and Compliance to manage customer and vendor agreements, SaaS/software terms, NDAs, and B2B arrangements at a global level. What you’ll be doing:
Commercial Contracts & Subcontract Management Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including MSAs, licensing agreements, statements of work (SOWs), terms & conditions, vendor agreements, NDAs, and partner agreements. Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial subcontracting matters, ensuring alignment with business requirements and corporate policies. Collaborate with internal teams to manage contract modifications, extensions, renewals, and close-out activities, including supporting the Federal contracts specialist. Negotiation & Stakeholder Engagement Lead and manage contract negotiations with customers, vendors, and partners in coordination with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Compliance teams. Maintain strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure contract terms support business objectives and protect organizational interests. Serve as a trusted advisor on contractual matters, identifying risks and proposing creative solutions. Legal & Compliance Collaboration Partner closely with the Legal and Compliance to ensure commercial agreements meet company standards and applicable laws. Provide guidance on contract interpretation, policy alignment, intellectual property, privacy, data security, and regulatory compliance. Support compliance initiatives related to customer onboarding, third-party due diligence, and ethical contracting. Contract Governance & Process Improvement Establish and maintain templates, processes, clause libraries, and playbooks for efficient and standardized contract drafting. Ensure contract records are up to date, accurate, and auditable in the contract management system. Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency, consistency, and risk control across the contract lifecycle. Global Strategic Support Contribute to contract strategy discussions with senior leadership and functional stakeholders. Provide support and insights into new business initiatives, partnerships, or commercial offerings from a contract/legal perspective. Monitor contract performance and assist in resolving contract-related disputes or escalations. What you’ll bring to the table:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or related field, or equivalent experience. 7+ years of progressive experience in contract management, including drafting, negotiation, and administration of commercial and subcontract agreements. Demonstrated experience managing customer and vendor contracts in a fast-paced, regulated, or technology-driven environment. Strong understanding of contract law, commercial contracting principles, and common risk areas (e.g., limitation of liability, indemnification, IP). Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects, following company processes and priorities with accuracy and professionalism. Experience partnering with Legal, Compliance, Sales, and Finance departments. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. High degree of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive matters. Preferred: Experience supporting or interacting with Legal and Compliance functions, especially in regulated industries or customer-facing risk management. Familiarity with U.S. federal or state procurement practices. Experience implementing or improving contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools and workflows. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Legal education or certification. Industry certifications such as CPCM, CCCM, or CCMP. Perks? Oh, yes.
