Role Overview:
As a
DevOps Engineer , you will play a key role in
managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS)
while driving
automation, CI/CD improvements, and operational efficiency . This role requires expertise in
cloud-native services, infrastructure as code (IaC), and security best practices . The ideal candidate is passionate about
troubleshooting, automation, and enabling rapid, stable deployments .
Key Responsibilities:
AWS Infrastructure Management:
Maintain, optimize, and scale
AWS services
(EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.) to ensure high availability and performance. CI/CD Pipeline Development:
Design, implement, and improve
CI/CD pipelines
using tools such as
Jenkins, GitLab CI, and CircleCI
to support multiple tech stacks (Java, Node.js, Python, PHP, .NET). Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Leverage tools like
Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Chef
to automate and streamline infrastructure provisioning. Web Services & Troubleshooting:
Manage and troubleshoot web services hosted on
Apache, IIS, and NGINX , ensuring system stability and rapid incident response. Security & Compliance:
Implement
cloud security best practices , including
IAM role management, encryption, security groups, and compliance audits . Collaboration & Support:
Work closely with
developers, system administrators, and security teams
to optimize workflows and ensure seamless deployments. Monitoring & Incident Management:
Utilize tools such as
Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and Datadog
for proactive monitoring, logging, and performance optimization. Documentation & Best Practices:
Maintain clear documentation for infrastructure, automation processes, and operational procedures. Qualifications & Skills:
2-5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure engineering
with a strong operational mindset. Proven experience managing AWS environments , including
EC2, VPC networking, RDS, S3, and IAM policies . Strong understanding of
networking concepts
(VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, ACLs) and troubleshooting connectivity issues. Hands-on experience with web servers
(Apache, NGINX, IIS) and troubleshooting web service performance issues. Deep expertise in automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
using tools like
Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Chef . Strong scripting abilities
in
Python, Bash, or PowerShell
for automation and infrastructure management. Experience with CI/CD tools
(Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) to streamline software delivery pipelines. Security-first mindset , with experience implementing
cloud security best practices . Excellent problem-solving skills , a passion for automation, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Nice to Have:
Experience in
web application development
(Java, Node.js, Python, PHP, .NET). Familiarity with
containerization and orchestration tools
(Docker, Kubernetes, ECS). Knowledge of
database management
in high-availability environments. Experience with
monitoring and logging solutions
