We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Marketing & Brand Strategy to lead the growth of Deep Steep , our natural and organic body, hair, and skin care brand. This role goes far beyond content — you will be responsible for managing our marketing, copywriting, and social media direction, while also leading other team members and overseeing all digital initiatives.
You will work directly with the owner to learn the industry from the ground up, gaining exposure to every part of the business — from product development and packaging decisions to go-to-market strategy. You’ll help choose new product lines, direct packaging and brand voice, and shape the future of the brand.
We’re looking for someone who can own the marketing department, bring creative and strategic leadership, and execute a digital vision that translates to real sales and long-term brand equity.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage sponsored social media strategies across all major platforms.
- Oversee and execute content creation for:
- Brand Website
- Amazon
- Faire
- Instagram and other key social channels
- Plan, concept, and launch high-performing campaigns on Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, and Snapchat — including giveaways, collaborations, UGC campaigns, event promotions, and product launches.
- Manage day-to-day scheduling, development, and monitoring of all social media content.
- Strategize and research trends, aesthetics, and competitor landscapes — including building mood boards and campaign decks.
- Respond to customer comments and messages across all channels in a timely, brand-aligned voice.
- Work with internal teams (product development, sales, production) to align marketing with product timelines and launches.
- Identify growth opportunities, influencer partnerships, and brand-building initiatives that drive awareness and sales.
- Help select new products, design packaging, and shape go-to-market launch strategies.
Requirements
- Proficient in content creation, especially Reels and TikTok videos.
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Strong copywriting and storytelling skills — must be able to craft messages that sell while staying on-brand.
- Demonstrated success managing and optimizing paid campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube, and emerging platforms like TikTok and Snapchat.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Comfortable managing and mentoring junior creatives or marketing staff.
