Quality Technician

Job Description:
The Supplier Quality Technician is primarily responsible for supporting Supplier Non conformance product, assist the MRB (material review board) process using Supplier Management programs. Emphasis will be on component supplier, Contract manufacturer and OEM activities that will assure that products meet design and process specifications consistently. The Supplier Quality Technician will support Supplier Quality Engineering team to ensure the implementation of the QMS and meet.
Responsibilities:-Support the effort of Supplier Quality Engineering team by helping improve product quality, mitigate, control and resolve supplier quality issues.
-Reviews and validates product non-conformances and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirement
-Manage the RTV (return to vendor process)
-Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications and conducting visual / measurement tests
-Measure parts according to prints
-Communicate problems to suppliers and internal leaders
-Assist SQE issuing CAPAs Company , Supplier corrective actions, deviations/concessions and related quality data for trending, scorecard maintenance and supplier performance reports to enable risk mitigation.
-Support investigation of nonconforming products. Support activities such as supplier assessment, supplier/product qualification and test method alignment.
-May also be asked to support process and product validation at suppliers and internal factories.
-Help improves global and site Supplier Controls procedural requirements, e.g., as supplier qualification, supplier change notification supplier audit, supplier risk assessments, etc. Approves engineering change requests if required.
-Knows and adheres to the quality policy of the company and the quality-related procedures and instructions.
-Reports any deviation in product or process, of which he/she becomes aware, to his/her manager or the Quality department.
-Completes all necessary training in the area of Quality and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
-Immediately reports any dissatisfaction or complaint which is brought to their attention from a customer or patient regarding a *** product (e.g. in terms of quality, durability, reliability, safety or performance) to the complaints department.
-Complies with all health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and job hazard analyses applicable to specified job activities; including medical evaluations as required by job function.
-Completes all required HSE training.
Education:-Associate Degree in Technical Field (Engineering or Sciences) is required or enrolled in a 4 year college degree
Licenses/ Certifications:-2-4 years of Technical Supplier quality experience Engineering is required. Medical device is preferred.
