UMKC supports several residencies and many of our physicians have teaching responsibilities for residents and medical students. UHP is also the primary physician group for Truman Medical Centers/University Health in Kansas City, MO. known as "Kansas City's Essential Hospital," it is the safety net healthcare system for Jackson County/Kansas City, MO. The University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, University Health, and University Health Physicians seek a fellowship-trained, full-time clinical faculty member in neuro-ophthalmology. This is an ideal position for a recent fellowship graduate or an individual desiring a transition to academic medicine to join with our established neuro-ophthalmologist in building the premier neuro-ophthalmology center in Kansas City. There are unique career advancement opportunities for clinical practice, clinical research, and teaching of medical students and neurology and ophthalmology residents. Applicants must be board certified or eligible in neurology or ophthalmology.We are located in Kansas City, Missouri which is recognized as one of America's Most Liveable cities.
