Full-time position, Monday through Friday. (Weekend shifts may be requested)
Qualifications & Education:Experience:
The physical therapist should have thirty-six (36) months of physician experience, with a minimum of twelve months (12) in the specialty required by the contract.License/Registration:
The physical therapist should be board-certified, and possess a current, valid, unrestricted physician license.The Physical therapist should havea Driving License.The Physical therapist should have Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are mandatory.
Duties & responsibilities:
Patient Assessment:
Conduct thorough initial assessments to evaluate patients' physical conditions, functional limitations, and treatment needs. Regularly monitor and reassess patient progress throughout their treatment.Treatment Planning:
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment, medical history, and physician recommendations. Treatment may include exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and education.Patient Education:
Educate patients and their families on exercises, self-care techniques, and strategies to improve mobility and manage pain. Ensure patients understand and can perform their home exercise programs effectively.Rehabilitation:
Administer physical therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, stretching, joint mobilization, and modalities (e.g., heat, cold, ultrasound). Adapt treatment plans as needed to achieve therapeutic goals.Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessment findings, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements.Collaboration : Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive patient care. Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
