Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) was created with the purpose of providing integrated enterprise IT support to Federal customers both CONUS and OCONUS. CARS employs Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with decades of experience working in the Federal marketplace.

Summary: Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) is looking forProject Management Specialist - Seniorto join our team in the Patuxent River area. This team supports a Department of Defense (DoD) client.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Apply analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives.

• Analyze requirements, status, budget, and schedules.

• Perform management, technical, or business case analyses.

• Collect, complete, organize, and interpret data relating to project acquisition and product programs.

• Track program/project status, budgets, resources, and schedules.

• Provide support to NAVAIR.

• Apply government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, and data management.

• Prepare acquisition and procurement documentation, including Justification and Approval (J&A) for sole source procurement; Individual Streamlined Acquisition Plan (ISTRAP); Statements of Work (SOW); Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) DD Form 1423-1; and Procurement Initiation Documents (PID).

• Perform program management, financial, and technical analyses.

• Collate and post data to various online tools and databases, e.g., Program Management Tool, Common Spend Plan Tool, Contract Requirements Data List tool, Procurement Request tracking tool, etc.

• Coordinates Integrated Government Schedule inputs between IPTs and schedule technicians.

• Coordinate inputs and perform analysis for Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE).

• Conduct market research to support future procurement activities.

• Assist in the management of team-level Risk, Issue, and Opportunity (RIO) Review Boards and document preparation.

• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of relevant experience OR

• MA/MS degree and 10+ years of relevant experience OR

• High school diploma or GED and completed military service with relevant training with 15+ years of experience OR

• High school diploma or GED and 20+ years relevant experience and hold a relevant technical certification with at least a year of experience

• Active Secret clearance

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance

• Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting

• Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals.

• Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.

• Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications.

• Experience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.

• Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone with good phone skills and a professional demeanor.

• Previous customer service experience strongly desired.

• Good problem-solving skills with the ability to visualize a problem or situation and think abstractly to solve it.
