Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Candidates can work remotely from home but must be a resident in the Houston area. They will need to go into the office for meetings and training.
Candidate need to have government subcontract experience with knowledge of Sam.gov.
Looking for candidate with government and Workday experience.
Review procurement files to generate subcontract closeout documents and change orders to ensure compliance prior to issuance and closeout of each file to mitigate risk and liability to the client.Work with functional areas to obtain information and documentation needed for closeout.Ensure subcontract files are in accordance with established procedures prior to closeout.Track progress and provide status of assigned closeouts.Understand basic accounting concepts to calculate amounts paid and remaining amounts per subcontract line.Must prioritize learning the client's policies and procedures in order to complete roles and responsibilities.
Required SkillsKnowledge of Sam.gov and ability to guide suppliers with registrationExperience working with government contract
for 3rd party vendorsExperience with working with various internal and external customersOrganized and proficient computer skillsDetermined to meet team goalsExceptional attention to detail, data-driven mindset and analytical problem solverAdvanced skills in Microsoft Word and ExcelUnderstanding basic accounting concepts is highly recommended.Exceptional attention to detail, data-driven mindset, analytical problem solver, self-motivated, takes initiative, and provide comprehensive work productSkills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree or 1-2 years equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.Previous Government Subcontracting experience is a plus.Previous compliance related work experience is a plus.
