ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Production Technician for ASM Global/Caesars Superdome | Smoothie King Center | Champions Square.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSetup, operation, breakdown, inventory, and maintenance broadcast, audio, lighting, and video equipment needs for over 200 events per yearNew Orleans Saints and Pelicans game day broadcast, Concert & Special Events A/V requirementsAssumes assigned production role and responsibilities as requiredUnderstands and responds to client needsCommunicates in a friendly, respectful, and understandable mannerDemonstrated communication, organization, and customer service skillsOperate equipment requirements for successful event productionProvide technical support throughout events as assignedWork on special projectsAll other duties as assignedQualifications

Must successfully pass a criminal background checkMust be at least 18 years of ageAble to work nights, weekends, and holidays as neededEducation and/or Experience
High School Diploma or equivalentTechnical Degree or certification preferredFive (5) years of experience in a related fieldExperience in broadcast production and A/V equipment for assigned responsibilitiesMust have a working knowledge of broadcast production, audio, video, lighting, and general A/V equipmentPhysical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility; to stand for long hours during events; talk and hear. This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events.
Able to operate machines such as scissor and bucket lifts, and able to work at heights over 50 ftMust be able to lift and push a minimum of fifty (50) pounds and spend long periods on your feet
