Job Summary
This role performs administrative functions in support of the Human Resource Manager to coordinate various HR and administrative tasks while assisting other departments and employees in the plant as needed (safety/environmental, production, maintenance, shipping, and finance).
Payroll, scheduling, seniority tracking, hiring, on-boarding, benefits support, and other miscellaneous HR functions will be supported by the Office Administrator.
The individual will also actively assist the Safety and/or Quality-Process Managers with administrative tasks related to safety and/or environmental compliance.
The Office Administrator will additionally perform general office duties including answering/routing telephone calls, maintaining office inventory, managing employee requests, events, or meetings, and handling of plant visitors.
Required Qualifications
High School diploma.
2-4 years general office and related experience in a manufacturing facility.
Ability to work independently with general supervision.
Ability to perform job duties, display a positive attitude, interact with others effectively, and be adaptable to change.
Ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing.
PC skills including word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation using Microsoft Office software programs. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Outlook).
