The
HR Generalist
plays a critical role in ASC's Human Resource Department in Columbia PA. The candidate needs to be a versatile forward thinking HR professional, that has a passion for recruiting and can develop strong employee relations engagement.

How Will You Help?
Provides a visible HR presence to enable / facilitate real time employee relations, engagement and solutions.Contribute to the delivery of key HR processes (e.g. career development, performance support, employee movement, leadership coaching, union relations, benefits etc.)Utilize HR metrics and people data to drive solutions based on trends and understand effectivenessDevelop solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation. Ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives.Serve as subject matter expert on majority of HR disciplines - a true generalistProvide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management.Collaborate with the human resources team to develop effective recruitment strategies and identify future staffing needs.Process complaints regarding sexual harassment, discrimination, or other instances of workplace harassment and assist in any necessary investigations and disciplinary actions.What Will You Have?
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field3-5 years Demonstrated knowledge of the human resources fieldExperience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding3+ years' experience recruiting hourly roles.Experience with HRMS/HRIS systemsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook)Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilitiesPHR or SPHR certification preferred
