Fabex Pressure Vessel Welder - Accepting Applications, Not Currently Hiring

DescriptionOverview:Welder who uses one or more of the following processes GTAW, SMAW, FCAW, SAW (TIG, Stick, Fluxcore, and Submerged Arc) to weld ASME pressure vessels as defined by client's specifications and applicable codes. Responsibilities:Perform and produce acceptable welds in all positions per qualified welding proceduresMust wear PPE at all times while in the shop. Ex: safety glasses, leather boots, gloves, and welding hoodMust follow all company safety rules, procedures, regulations, and company's Core Safety RulesReport any unsafe conditions and practices to supervisor or safety manager immediatelyReport all incidents/accidents/injuries involving the health and wellbeing of any employee to management immediatelyQualifications:A minimum of 1 year of vessel shop experience Ability to pass visual, radiograph, and destructive testing in one or more of the following processes: GTAW, SMAW, FCAW, SAWAbility to follow welding procedures Must be able to back gouge welds to clean metalMust be able to understand and follow direction from supervisorMust have the ability to run shop overhead cranes and rig heavy objects in a safe mannerMust be able to work, stand for 10 hours, and squat and bend at the waist as needed throughout the day for a 5-day work weekHave the ability to lift at least 50lbsProfessional ability to work well with managementExcellent communication and teaming abilities Attention to detailsProven work ethic
