Senior Manager
who will be joining their Finance and Fund Accounting Team.Summary:The Senior Manager will be responsible for maintaining the books and records for various funds within the Global Private Debt business.Responsibilities:
Preparation and maintenance of the books and records of pooled private investment funds organized as limited partnerships and/or separate accountsAccounting for and reconciliation of cash and investmentsRecording and reconciling of purchase and sale transactionsEstimating and posting of monthly closing accrualsPartnering with our corporate actions team in reviewing and accounting for complex corporate actionsPreparation and/or review of complex management fee and waterfall calculationsPreparation and/or review of allocations of income and expense allocations to each partner, including updating of distribution waterfall based on the terms of the governing documentsDetermining and preparing distributions and capital callsPreparing and reviewing of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportingAnalyzing and calculating of performance metricsCoordinating with independent auditors, custodians, prime brokers and fund administratorsDocumenting processes and internal controls over financial reportingPerforming other tasks as requiredQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA preferred.7+ years of relevant accounting or audit experience. Big Four public accounting background is preferred.Strong knowledge of reconciliation and account analysisStrong technical accounting skills and the ability to apply relevant investment company accounting rulesSolid analytical skills and ability to understand and resolve complex problems; andProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
