Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Responsible for development, maintenance, and execution of quality assurance test plans to support all Radwell's applications and websites. Responsible for creation and execution of automated test scripts along with proper reporting and tracking of issues and bugs discovered during testing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following: May be modified from time to time. Other duties may be assigned.
Required to gain specialized knowledge of Radwell International operational functions, procedures, and systems; such as, Sales order processing, purchasing, and inventory management, shipping, accounting functions, and websites.Become knowledgeable about ongoing development projects and system changes to create meaningful use cases and test data.Ability to document and communicate to the development and analyst teams issues that were discovered during testingTrack QA progress, bug tracking status, aging of bug resolutionMust regularly report status to management and proactively provide updates on current open issues.Verify software enhancements and resolutions work as expected and do not cause issues in other areas of the same or different applications.Provide end user customer technical support for level 3 issues as neededDeploy software changes to various environments, including production, as needed and manage releases through Change Control.Conduct Business Analysis of processes and identify process improvements as neededPerform work in an efficient mannerMaintain a positive and professional working relationship with team members and end usersOther tasks may also be required from time to time, at the discretion of management, in order to achieve department and company objectives.METRICS
Applications Support Analysts will be measured on the quality of their work and on how effectively they completed and closed support tasks including, but not limited to, development project support, systems analysis, and root cause evaluation when compared to the outlined quarterly Sprint review objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
It is essential that the candidate possesses or can quickly acquire the necessary knowledge of the following systems that are crucial to the business:
Experience with an automated software testing toolExperience with bug tracking software and reportingProphet 21Radwell's proprietary software and websitesMicrosoft OfficeMS SQL Server 2008 and 2012KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
Ability to multi-taskAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detailAbility to work effectively with little or no supervisionStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong problem solving abilities and root cause identificationInterpersonal skills are a mustSensitive to end user needsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Two to four years related experience performing quality assurance and regression testing
