Job DescriptionDescription/Comment:
The Software Test Engineer will perform software testing of software connected to microbiology medical devices. The Test Engineer will be part of the Software Test team and execute Verification and Validation tests. The candidate should have good experience and knowledge with software testing and have good strong communication skills. Ability to quickly ramp up on a complex project and work on a tight deadline. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Setup test environment. Execute software test cases. Document software defects. Write test cases and have test cases reviewed by other team members. Investigate software and system problems. Support of other project activities. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in related field. 2+ years of software testing. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. DESIRED EXPERIENCES: Experience testing software with a database and familiarity with SQL queries. Test environment setup experience such as installing an OS, networking the PC, and connecting to instrumentation. Experience with Client Application Life Cycle Management (Client ALM) tools for test planning, test execution, defect management, and requirements management. Familiarity with one object-oriented programming language.
