Role Description & Responsibilities SIMULIA, Dassault SYSTEMES' world leading brand for advanced simulation software, is looking for a highly motivated Vibro-Acoustic Software Developer to join our world class technical team. You will be part of a global team of leading vibro-acoustic experts that are developing and supporting the next generation of noise and vibration simulation software. Working closely with our global technical team and rapidly expanding client base you will use your expertise in vibro-acoustics to help research and develop disruptive new vibro-acoustic simulation methods and ensure they can be applied to a diverse range of applications. You will share the team's passion for excellence and will have a unique opportunity to change the way that the world simulates noise and vibration.

Your role will require you to:

*Interact with wave6 technical staff and clients to understand requirements *Research and develop new vibro-acoustic methods *Work with product management in the design of objects and attributes *Ensure consistency of object design (and minimize complexity where possible) *Implement in high quality C++ making use of existing frameworks and following company best practices *Develop QA and validation cases to ensure maximum automated QA coverage *Communicate new functionality within internal technical teams *Support use of new methods internally and with key clients in order to help prove out new methods *Contribute to wave6 agile development processes *Collaborate in multidisciplinary projects for key clients involving multiple domains and multiple physics *Leverage the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and ensure our activities are aligned with Dassault SYSTEMES overall strategy and objectives

Qualifications *PhD with a specialization in acoustics and vibration *Undergraduate degree with a specialization in mechanical or aerospace engineering *Demonstrated and proven research and development experience *Established network within the global vibro-acoustics community *Strong technical knowledge of vibro-acoustic simulation methods (Statistical Energy Analysis, Finite Element Analysis, Boundary Elements, Poroelastic Materials etc) *Experience developing vibro-acoustic simulation software (and particularly commercial vibro-acoustic software) *Experience supporting teams that promote and sell vibro-acoustics software *Experience working with R&D and field teams to communicate requirements *Experience with typical vibro-acoustic test and measurement systems used for validating simulation models
