ABOUT THE POSITION
The Product Support Engineer is responsible for ongoing support of products before and after production launch.
Key DeliverablesBOM’s for Aftermarket quotes.CAD drawings for Aftermarket parts orders.Technical engineering support to other departments.Electrical Engineering projects.PLC programs.Key Activities & Responsibilities
Researches the history and current state of the product evolution, resolution of production and Customer concerns.Coordinates engineering activities with purchasing and manufacturing.Apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.Works with new and retrofit electrical wiring schematics to assure safe operations of equipment.Maintenance, improvements, and general support for existing products.Learn the functions and wiring for panel components and controls.Implementation of product improvementsTo be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:
B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)Knowledge of electrical schematic and wiring diagrams.PLC programming experience a plus.Autodesk or Solidworks CAD experience a plus.Must be able to work on several projects at one time through changing priorities.Willingness to participate in a team-oriented environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Microsoft Office SkillsProject Management
