DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES Texas Health and Human Services Commission requires the services of 1 QA Engineer Automated 3, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of QA Engineer Automated 3, Quality Assurance (QA) and Testing and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. ll work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire " and are the property of the Texas Health and Human Services Commission and may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. Texas Health and Human Services Commission will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Candidate(s). This includes determining the priority for test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios. Designing documentation for automated processes.ny experience testing healthcare applications. ny experience with Katalon software is preferred. Coordinates and/or performs work on programming projects including those that are highly complex in nature and/or large in scale. Coordinates and/or writes test plans and test data. Writes complex software code and debugs software. nalyzes proposed applications for software regression suites nalyzes, reviews, and revises software to increase operating efficiency or to adapt new procedures. Prepares detailed analyses, plans, diagrams, and verification procedures for existing and proposed applications. ll work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the HHSC. HHSC may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Workers) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by the Texas law. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements: Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity. Years Required/Preferred Experience 8 Required Experience with designing automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically 8 Required Experience in prioritizing test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios 8 Required Experience in creating test plans, test cases, and preparing test environments 8 Required Experience in performing moderately complex functional, application, and regression testing 8 Required Knowledge of the software development life cycle and software development methodologies 8 Required ble to interpret requirement documents and able to update test documents accordingly 8 Required Strong familiarity with analysis, planning and management reporting functions 8 Required cquires knowledge of the Customer's business in assigned are 8 Required Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills 8 Required ble to work with Customer as needed during test cycle 8 Required Excellent analytical; problem-solving; team playing; and oral and written communication skills 8 Required Proven ability to work successfully with technical and non-technical groups and manage multiple responsibilities 2 Preferred Experience with Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework and document templates 2 Preferred Familiarity with company's information architecture and information management methodologies 2 Preferred Familiarity with the existing and planned software technology and the global, regional and local software architecture and infrastructure components III. TERMS OF SERVICEServices are expected to start 10/02/2023 and are expected to complete by 08/31/2024. Total estimated hours per Candidate shall not exceed 2000 hours. This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended providing both parties agree to do so in writing. IV. WORK HOURS AND LOCATIONServices shall be provided during normal business hours unless otherwise coordinated through the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when the agency is closed. The primary work location(s) will be at 701 W 51st Street, Austin, TX 78751. Any and all travel, per diem, parking, and/or living expenses shall be at the Candidate's and/or Vendor's expense. Texas Health and Human Services Commission will provide pre-approved, written authorization for travel for any services to be performed away from the primary work location(s). Pre-approved travel expenses are limited to the rates and comply with the rules prescribed by the State of Texas for travel by its classified employees, including any requirement for original receipts. The Candidate(s) may be required to work outside the normal business hours on weekends, evenings and holidays, as requested. Payment for work over 40 hours will be at the hourly rate quoted and must be coordinated and pre-approved through Texas Health and Human Services Commission. V. OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTSServices are expected to start 10/02/2023 and are expected to complete by 08/31/2024 for FY24. Total estimated hours for Candidate shall not exceed 2000 hours for FY24. This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended providing both parties agree to do so in writing.I.
