An DevOps Engineer II at Texas Roadhouse will have the chance to create a legendary experience at one of the fastest-growing groups of restaurant brands in America. As part of our InfraSecOps team, you will do this by creating a secure world-class, and scalable hybrid multi-cloud platform by using automation to provide optimal performance, continuity, and efficiency in virtualized on-demand environments to support our expanding suite of applications.

The DevOps Engineer II is responsible for:• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems• Experience understanding business requirements, translating them into requirements, Infrastructure and processes that can be automated using standard IaC tools or custom code• Good understanding of public cloud computing architectures and services. Experienced in using cloud-native technologies, cloud cybersecurity, and implementation patterns to lower costs, improve speed to market, increase efficiency, and enable innovation• Experience leveraging modern technologies to increase velocity and decrease the cost of solution delivery, microservices architecture, and containerization• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks• Building collaborative relationships with team members, fostering a productive team environment, and coaching staff with timely meaningful feedback• Experience working in large, high-quality codebases• Plans and supports SAN infrastructure• Providing Level 3 support

Requirements:Education: BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

Preferred: Certifications in Microsoft Stack, Azure, VMware, A+

Experience:• At least five years of IT infrastructure administration or configuration experience• At least two years of experience working on any major cloud provider• At least two years of experience with VMware ESX, vSphere, Horizon and vRealize Operations• Experience with Infrastructure provisioning tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, CloudFormation, etc.• Experience with Configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.• Experience deploying IaC via CI/CD pipelines in tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, etc.• Experience with Policy as Code in tools such as HashiCorp Sentinel, Azure Policy, Open Policy Agent, etc.• Proficiency in automation testing frameworks building integration, acceptance, and performance test automation• Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with business and customer representatives• Passion for growing your skills, tackling interesting work and challenging problems• Experience working using agile, lean, and DevOps delivery practices and methodologies.

Computer Skills: Proficiency with standard office productivity and developer tools; General computer troubleshooting
