Overview:
Georges Media, the parent company of The Advocate, Nola.com, and The Times-Picayune, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Digital Strategist to join our sales team. This role is pivotal in driving our digital sales efforts, with a primary focus on expanding our client base, nurturing existing relationships, and re-engaging past clients. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in large-scale sales initiatives involving a diverse range of digital products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management:
- Grow and maintain relationships with existing customers.
- Prospect and onboard new clients.
- Reactivate past customers, leveraging our comprehensive suite of digital products.
2. Sales Strategy:
- Develop and execute strategies for large-scale sales involving multiple digital products.
- Collaborate closely with multimedia sales representatives to maximize sales opportunities.
- Identify market trends and customer needs to guide product development and sales approaches.
3. Digital Advertising Expertise:
- Provide expert guidance on SEM, SEO, social media marketing, and programmatic advertising.
- Leverage strong analytical skills to assess campaign performance and optimize strategies.
4. Team Collaboration:
- Work in tandem with various departments to ensure cohesive sales and marketing efforts.
- Provide training and support to sales reps in digital advertising concepts and practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital advertising or sales role.
- Proven track record in sales and client relationship management.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset.
- Deep familiarity with SEM, SEO, social media, and programmatic advertising.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (preferred).
