Sr. Integration DeveloperWork Location: Remote
Job DescriptionIn this role, you will work with clients to understand business requirements, gather information about various source systems, and build the actual integrations which connects their data sources together. As an integration's developer, you will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment to manage competing priorities, meet agreed upon deadlines, and deliver high quality work. This position is responsible for analysis, design, development, and implementation of Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) applications for internal company use and for clients. In addition, this position will take on the responsibility for:
Essential Functions:
Advise on architectural strategies and best practice approaches.Provide regular updates of project progress and outstanding issues.Participate in the design and planning of projects in conjunction with the external partners, other IT, and business users.Personal and Team DevelopmentContribute to team development through support and collaboration with remote team members. System and data analysis, architecture, and designData integration and workflow designSoftware development, configuration and customizationOn-Site and Post implementation support
Job Requirements:
Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol as well as change management proceduresProficiency using versioning tools: GIT, GNU, RCS, SCCS, CVS, SVN, Mercurial, Monotone, etcDemonstrated organizational, analytical and interpersonal skillsFlexible team playerAbility to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilitiesAbility to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performanceMust demonstrate initiative and effective independent decision-making skillsAbility to communicate technical information clearly and articulatelyAbility to adapt to a rapidly changing environmentIn-depth understanding of the systems development life cycleProficiency programming in more than one object-oriented programming language preferably JAVAProficiency in database knowledge in; SQL, MySQL, Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, dBase, MS Access, etcProficiency using standard desktop applications such as MS Suite and flowcharting tools such as VisioProficiency using in ESB toolsHigh critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategyProficiency in Web Services (REST); Groovy, XSLT or JAXB, Hibernate, and Spring FrameworkProficiency in Web Services (SOAP) XML, and Flat Files (CSV, Fixed-Width)Proficiency using ETL tools: Informatica/Ab InitioExperience managing Operational Data StoreProficiency in Data Lineage/Data Quality
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Various Domain experience; Health Care, Financial, etcExperience using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologySpecific tools, languages and specialty skills may vary
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
8+ years of IT development/programming/coding professional work experience5-8 years of Integration experience for ESB applications
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics or relevant work experienceRelevant Development certifications
