Information Security Analyst, Senior: REMOTE POSITION
Syndetix is seeking a creative and talented Information Security Analyst, Senior to join our high-performing growth team.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE:
Plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for the protection of computer networks and information. Assess system vulnerabilities for security risks and propose and implement risk mitigation strategies. May ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure. May respond to computer security breaches and viruses.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:A minimum of 20 years of experience in DevSecOps automation, Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery.Experience with virtualization machines and operating systems such as VMWare, vCenter, vSphere, and Amazon Web Service (AWS).Extensive knowledge of containerization using applications such as Podman, Docker, or Docker Compose.Understand security compliance requirements such as RMF, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-190, ATO, DISA STIG, and SCAP.Experience with the use of agile processes in the development and integration of DoD software requirements. Proficiency in Atlassian toolset to include Confluence and JIRA.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in computer and information technology/computer science field or a related field such as engineering or math and 10+ years’ experience.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
This position requires a S/Top Secret (TS)/ Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)Clearance. To obtain a clearance, the candidate will need to be a US Citizen and show proof of citizenship.
