Overview:
We are seeking a talented and analytical Data Analyst to join our Client team in Canada. The ideal candidate will be proficient in SQL, DB2, and have experience with Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Responsibilities:
Extract and analyze data from various sources to support business decisions. Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve, transform, and load data. Work with DB2 databases to maintain and ensure data accuracy. Collaborate with teams to understand data requirements and provide actionable insights. Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate data findings effectively. Utilize Cloud platforms, particularly AWS or Azure, for data storage and analysis. Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to assist in decision-making. Assist in data quality assurance and data cleansing processes. Stay updated on industry best practices and technologies related to data analysis.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, or related). Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role. Proficiency in SQL and experience with DB2. Knowledge of Cloud platforms, particularly AWS or Azure. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large datasets. Excellent communication and data visualization skills. Attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with data analysis tools and software.
