Gridiron IT is seeking a Lead Business Analyst local to Washington DC to support a Federal client on a remote basis.

Responsibilities:• Lead, a small team for IT Lifecycle Management program• Assist and act on behalf of Program Management as needed• Collaborate with team to develop and define sprint backlog• Build, and establish excellent relationship with client, stakeholders, and contractors• Prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders• Provides group facilitation, interviewing, training, and provides additional forms of knowledge transfer.• Lead and assist in analysis of requirements, turn them into user stories for development teams to design and develop applications built on the selected COTS Platform in an agile environment.• Lead and trains and/or mentors other team members, peers and clients as appropriate.• Work with customers at all levels of technical ability by assisting them in the customization and development of alumni management system.• Review existing documentation to understand system functionality and use that information to create user stories to implement functionality in the modernized alumni /Student tracking management systems.• Collaborate with executive stakeholders to elicit their business concerns and develop workable solutions.• Work with proper organizations to identify relevant data sources as the primary liaison for Memorandums of Understanding/Memorandum of Agreement. As a key member of the team, capture data for new business rules, resolve inconsistencies such as missing/bad data, and support complex queries from data source partners or customers•Qualifications:• Must be US Citizen• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Information Systems Management, Computer Science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.• 12+ years of business analyst experience with at least 8 years as IT business analyst.• 5+ years of leading business analyst teams.• 5+ years working with teams in an Agile development environment• High degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, understanding of Agile principles• Experience successfully driving end-to-end delivery of data and intelligence solutions, including a wide variety of mechanisms, e.g. dashboards, APIs, real time alerts, etc.• Advanced proficiency in analytical, project planning, negotiating, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and oral)• Ability to Perform cost-benefit analysis.
