We are searching for an Associate Veterinarian to join the team at a Small Animal General, multi-doctor, AAHA, independently owned practice. We are confident that after learning more about this practice, you will see what a fantastic, rewarding opportunity the role can be for your career.PRACTICE HIGHLIGHTSYou would be joining a collaborative team of doctors: 9 doctors total, one owner.Over 3-4 support staff per doctor for GP, two – three per ERCertifications: Fear Free for some doctors, working toward more plus practiceCompensation : ER DVMs are paid a base per shift plus production. Production: 10%. Generally salary would be $150k - $200k.GP – paid $150,000-200,000 salaried or base plus production. Production 20%Vacation – 2 weeksPTO – 40 hours sick, FMLA paid through stateNon-compete not requiredABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYAppointment schedule – 20 to 40 minutes depending on doctor and caseVacation - 2 weeksWeek-ends – varies depending on schedulingOvernights –if ER, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Currently we have one DVM that only works days, and the other only overnights.ABOUT THE TEAMSupport to doctor ratio: GP 3 to 4; ER 1 to 3 depending on shiftFear Free Certifications – some doctors, working toward more and practiceOther Certifications – AAHAManager – is an experienced CVPMPriority/focus – Patient care, client service, life/work balanceEnvironment: relaxed, team oriented, always learningCulture: Engaged, interested in learning/growing, collaborativeABOUT THE PRACTICELocation:
