Senior Data Science Analyst

We are looking for a highly motivated and self-starting individual. You are a skilled and experienced technologist passionate about data, and insights. You should have experience with traditional and modern technologies such as AI, ML, Python, relational databases, data warehousing, and PostgreSQL. You should also be proficient in using Tableau and/or other BI tools.

In this role, you will create and lead a small team of Data Engineers responsible for creating, maintaining, optimizing, and automating our data delivery and extraction from multiple data sources into our data warehouse and developing some AI projects.

Duties / Responsibilities:

Create, enhance, and optimize Tableau visualizations used by our business customers and internal leaders.Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data sources using SQL and AWS technologies.Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics. Use predictive analytics techniques.Experience with Data preparation for AI/Machine Learning.Apply the latest algorithms and techniques like deep learning and other matching learning techniques to create client value through insight generation and decision support.Perform tests and conduct QA reviews with other team members.Required Skills and Responsibilities:

Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL), as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.At least two years of experience creating data visualizations using Tableau or equivalent.At least two years of experience in software development using Python.At least two years of experience building data pipelines and using ETL tools.Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.A successful history of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large disconnected datasets.Working knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable ‘big data’ data stores.Strong project management and organizational skills.Good to know other programming languages like Phyton, R, Java, MatlabEducation and Experience:

BS in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Business Analytics.Previous work experience leading data management projects and teams.Experience in application development including Python, and SQL.Experience with a public cloud (AWS), ETLs, AI, ML, and data warehousing.Compensation DOE

HIPAA

Environmental Stewardship and Safety

Team members are expected to adhere to facility safety requirements, report unsafe practices or equipment, and, if applicable, use the appropriate protective equipment as needed.Depending on role, and during the daily course of duties, team members may have to lift, twist, pull or push. Team members must be able to manage these activities up to 60 lbs.Any accident or incident must be reported immediately to a member of management for proper recording.
