Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) is seeking a Firmware Developer to join their team:Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to lead activities to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.Lead others to evaluate customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.Lead analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.Lead analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.Lead, develop, maintain and identify improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, FPGA/firmware/software configuration management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.Lead activities to develop and maintain full documentation of architecture, algorithms, FPGA/firmware, software and system interfaces.Plan and lead research projects to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.What Makes BI&A Different:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master 3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Required Qualifications:

Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraphFPGA/Xilinx and the associated development toolsVHDL/VerilogMATLAB/OctaveDSPCPythonLinux developmentAbility to effectively communicate ideas and theories via white papers and technical design meetingsDesired Qualifications:

Basic Linux System AdministrationRPMs, and YUMGIT/GitLabAgile development processesContinuous integration tool support - GitLab CI/CD, JenkinsShell scripting (Bash, but any scripting experience will suffice)PCIe, Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI)Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence, etc...)Strong math skills

Summary Pay Range:
