Overview:

Responsible for general technical support for students, faculty and staff of the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine/ Imaging School (1000+ users).Responsibilities:Responsible for general technical support, to include, but not limited to as much of the following as possible:Administers all smart-podiums, troubleshooting all Audio-Visual issues in lecture halls, labs and classrooms.Respond to service tickets.Performs installation, configuration, deployment and troubleshooting of desktop/laptop computers and peripheralsAdministers Print Server and printing management softwareAdministers E-Mail listserv for faculty, staff and student bodyTroubleshoots network (wired and wireless) related issues.Technical support for Medical Simulation Machines.Assists students and instructors with Canvas and clicker issues.Assist students with Exam issues Troubleshoot Zoom issues. Other duties as required

Qualifications:Education/ Experience

Bachelor of Science preferred.At least 3 years of IT experience.Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

Demonstrated proficiency in communication (written and verbal) requiredCustomer service and team orientated requiredA high degree of interpersonal competency: professionalism, diplomacy, judgement and discretion requiredDemonstrated ability to develop positive and cooperative relationships with students, faculty, and colleagues requiredNetworking, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, TCP/IPKnowledge of Windows Workstations/Servers, Linux Servers (preferred) and Mac OSX.Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & OutlookBasic understanding of Audio-Visual equipment.Internet researchPhysical DemandsExtensive time sitting and standingAbility to lift 10 lbs.Job location: 230 W 125th StreetMaximum Salary:USD $50,715.00/Yr.

Minimum Salary:USD $40,572.00/Yr.
