Senior IV&V Software Test Engineer - ACTIVE DoD SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED

Ampersand Solutions Group (AMPERSAND) is seeking an Senior Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) Engineer/Analyst.The selected Candidate:Performs evaluations of various software related products and covers assessments of software products through all phases of the development life cycle, including software specifications, design verification, coding, testing, and results data validation. Utilizes static and dynamic analysis tools to identify potential vulnerabilities and code defects. Works as part of a team, and independently, to verify and validate potential defects found during analysis. Participates in peer reviews throughout the product lifecycle. Mentors junior personnel. Exercises strong written and oral communication skills. Exercises strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.Required

ABET accredited BS in an Engineering discipline; or BS in a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of IV&V experienceMinimum of 15 years of relevant experienceExperience with C/C++ programming languageSome travelACTIVE security clearance is a requirement; interims or eligibility for interim is not sufficientDesired

MS in related fieldExperience with the Missile Defense AgencyGround-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) experienceExperience with Python, Java, Ada, or other programming languagesKnowledge of Static Code Analyzers (e.g.: HelixQAC, Code Dx, Coverity, CppCheck, Clang-Tidy, etc.)Linux OS experienceExperience with embedded systems development, test, and/or IV&VRegression testing and performance testing experienceKnowledge of and familiarity with the IEEE 1012-1998 Standard for Software Verification and Validation
