Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our Humanoid is designed for corporate tasks targeting labor shortages and jobs that are undesirable or unsafe. We are based in Sunnyvale, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration.
We are looking for a Systems Integration Engineer that can understand the intricacies of bringing together multiple complex systems into fully functional robots.
Responsibilities:
Ensure requirements are being correctly translated into functional design architectureContribute to the architectural decisions of all of the different subsystems of the robotDesign high level build plans to ensure that all teams are unblockedHave a complete understanding of all systems and how they come togetherHelp debug persistent issues that arise, in both hardware and software, during robot bring up and testingRequirements:
5+ years of experience in robotics or similar fieldMaster's degree in robotics or similarAbility to understand and debug complex systemsAbility to tackle problems in which you may not have expert knowledgeUnderstanding of how different subsystems (Controls, Electrical, Software, Mechanical) interact, and where they commonly have issuesExtensive experience developing and working with robotsBonus Qualifications:
Ability to write C++, Python a plusAbility to CAD a plusExperience with Linux a plusExperience with designing test plans
